Here is where you will register for the 2026 National Board Jumpstart session. The Jumpstart session is being held September 26, 2026 at West Forsythe High School located at 1735 Lewisville Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.  Jumpstart is a nationally recognized program to prepare candidates or potential candidates for the National Board process. In this all day program, learn about the basics of the process and all 4 components. Additionally, all participants will explore the body of knowledge, which is the basis of accomplished teaching. Welcome to the follow-up mini course to "School House Voices: Advocacy 101". This course was developed by the North Carolina Association of Educators.  This mini course is a part of a series of courses designed to help parents and community allies use their voice to make a real difference in children’s school experience. Every parent has a story — a moment when you saw something that inspired you, challenged you, or made you say, “Something needs to change.” This course will begin to help you turn that story into powerful advocacy that supports not only your child, but all children in North Carolina school communities.
